This tool is super useful. As a cook you should want usage of tools. Don't think about as just "pizza pan grippers". I was introduced to them with my job years ago when we transitioned to a Conveyor Belt oven, Didn't like them at first, but learned to love them. In fact, I took couple pairs because we had plenty. I moved to another job where they made me an innovative genius, they were pulling pans out of extremely hot Cheesemelter with hands or towels so I brought in my pan grippers. Six months later I ordered a 2019 model and they were way superior: very durable, light weight and came with a hook so could always hang them in useful place. Months later I got a management position where they were more useful. The crew was using a hand towel to pull things out of a conveyor belt oven, most of times, dipping the towel in marinara sauce, so I decided to give the crew my pan grippers and they immediately noticed was a must need. Those broke so I ordered these newer pair which were EVEN BETTER. Must have for a kitchen.
