Works perfectly! I make a fair amount of beef jerky at a time with this. My family loves the jerky I make. I haven't tried anything else yet. But, it is a bit of a pain to clean, due to all those small little squares. I'm still 100% happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to dehydrate food with their ninja.Pro tip: don't let anything hang over the edge as you dehydrate food. As it dries, it takes the shape of the edge and almost cements itself to the shelf. You will end up with a ton of broken food and a really dirty shelf.I use these racks all the time and never for dehydrating. I cook multilayers of foods like: hot dogs, vegetables, & pizza bagels. I use my Instapot and the air fryer lid. I remove a top layer, cook the next layer for a little while, and repeat until all layers of food are thoroughly cooked. When I looked at this rack, I thought it would be very useful for air frying as I can air fry many things in layers on the rack. But it doesn't really work well due to following problems:1. Even if I use three layers on the rack, I will have to remove the hot rack to turn food on it.2. Turning food on the rack is hard as it's small space between layers even when I use only 3 out of 5 layers. By the time I turn all the food, the air fryer times out.3. The food at the top rack cooks faster than bottom rack. You will have to remove the top rack food before else it will burn out.All in all though it feels like a good idea, it doesn't work in the Instant pot 6 cup air fryer well. The product itself is well made and of good quality. Just don't use it for air frying. This gadget makes the instant pot air fryer 3-5 times more useful. The small round cooking area in the instant pots with air fryer lids makes it really inconvenient to cook any real quantity of most items that can’t be cooked in a big heap (like fries). This allows you to air fry items in 3-5 levels (depending on how thick the items are) and has made our air fryer lid a go-to appliance rather than a gimmicky but impractical device taking up space. This thing is worth every penny for the function it brings but I knock off one star because it seems like a lot of $ for what the thing is and because (as mentioned in other reviews) it requires a little finesse to put in and out of the fryer without spilling.I like the option to have all or some of the shelves to fit different thickness foods. However, it does not snap together and the shelves can shift out of position during movement from counter to the Instant Pot inner bowl. I have used it twice for mozzarella sticks. Easy clean up with a plastic scrubby pad for stuck-on crusty foods.I bought this as an air frying rack too for the instant pot as the one that is supplied is useless, the food always sticks to it. This rack however is great, it gives you more options for stacking more food into the pot and because of the mesh design you get good airflow without the need to rotate the food half way like you would have to with the original instant pot rack. After cooking, I leave them in the sink to soak straight away then they are super easy to clean off later. I know that it's intended to be for dehydrating food, but it has multiple uses and would recommend. Have been using it a lot for just over a month now and seems to be going strong.I got this to use with the air fryer lid for my IP. I wanted it to air fry, not dehydrate, and the mixed results were my fault as I was using it for a different purpose. It requires a little coordination to set it up but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. I used it for bacon and eggplant and predictably, the top layer got done much faster. It took some fiddling but covering the top screen with foil and using the rest for the food worked OK with a lower temp and a longer time (*not* advocating this-it's just what I did). I got a larger amount of food cooked without having to stand there and babysit it. Better air circulation means you don't have to flip anything which is a major pain with my off-label setup. Big plus for days when my joints ache and it's hard to stand. YMMVWhere it proved to be very handy was for air-frying chicken. One of the removable racks on the bottom of the inner liner was perfect to hold chicken pieces off the bottom but keep them far enough from the heating element so they cooked through and got crispy but not burnt. It allows you to use the whole diameter of the IP instead of the smaller basket that comes with the air fryer lid. Larger pieces don't overlap as much. I did a 5# chicken and it came out perfect. Being able to roast a whole chicken without using the oven in August is worth the price to me. I'm sure I'll find lots of other uses for it. Glad I bought it.Oh, and I found no sharp edges whatsoever and it's easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. It's okayYes, the diameter of the racks are 7.9", however the carriage for the racks are larger. It will not fit in a Ninja Air Fryer model AC 101C. The build was ok - likely some issues cleaning around diameter where screens are connected. Would be fine for dehydrating, which is the intended purpose.Overall, the listed dimensions on the description needs to be changed.Fantastic Rack! Fits perfectly in my 6 quart Instant Pot to be used with my IP Air Fryer Lid. Also, it's great for baking or air frying on several different levels vs. only 2 levels with the IP air fryer basket. Very easy to clean. Highly recommended.Must have with an insta-pot air fryer. So many more levels than stock. I use this to dehydrate, to cook chicken nuggets, make air fryer donuts - yum.I always use canola oil before placing food and nothing sticks strongly. Easier to clean.Fits my instant pot 6 quart duo crisp. Fantastic for increasing air frying or steaming capacity, a little wobbly when assembled, however very easy to assemble and holds. Serves its intended purpose and more.Love this little rack. It fits neatly in my 6qt instant pot and allows so much more surface area to dry or fry anything. Really let's me use more of the volume of my pot, what a handy little buy.
