I used this for 5 weeks straight in the Rocky Mountains doing field research (also many backpacking, camping and hunting trips) from 85 degree nights in Arizona to sub freezing nights in Wyoming. This pad is amazing! I am no small dude either, 5'11, 230 lbs and a side sleeper to boot. It kept me comfortable and off the ground.I will throw in that I have owned an Alps Mountaineering 65L backpacking pack for over 10 years. It has seen many, many multi night trips and came with me for the 5 weeks. Every buckle, every zipper, every strap works exactly as it did on the day I bought it. No tears even though I am rough on things and do not avoid small branches or cat claws. Not even a loose thread. This company makes QUALITY products that last. I no longer think twice about depending on something for an extended period of time if it carries their name.
