I have a super hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. In fact I would say that pretty much the only shoes I have ever found comfortable are sneakers. I can not tolerate heals what so ever so when I saw these lower wedge shoes I had to try them. I have Fred Flintstone type feet that are very wide (especially at the toe area) and have had an awful time finding shoes that don't kill my feet. I will admit, these shoes are not the most comfortable compared to sneakers, but they are the most comfortable dressy shoes I have found and the most stylish. Even though I am 5' 3" I feel women look silly and trashy wearing really high shoes so I needed something that offered a little bit of a heel but did not propel me into the trashy look that shoe makers think women desire. I ordered the 7 C (wide) and they are in fact the best dress shoes I have found that offer style and nominal comfort. From reading the other reviews about people complaining about them being too narrow I see that they are ordering "B" widths etc which is not the shoes fault they are not ordering the right width. The width on these is surprisingly wide enough for my feet and they do not pinch. Another thing that I love is that the rubber sole is nice and quiet and does not make me sound like an idiot walking down the halls at the high school I work at. No, I won't be running any marathons in these, but again, for dressy shoes they are the most comfortable I have owned.
