Honestly, at this point if you're reading reviews to decide on buying or not, you either aren't that into the series, or you think it jumped the shark and are waiting for the inevitable "it sucks" point to stop investing in these books.My opinion, that shark is way out at sea and we're somewhere in Saskatchewan - ain't no jumping for a long while.I'd almost say this was my favorite book thus far...almost. Still, second best is still good, and this book is good. Don't wanna spoil anything, but some backstories are expanded upon and some loose threads are finally woven back into the tale. The Pantheon makes a final full appearance, and that alone is worth the read. Only negative is the Yosagi Yojimbo issue - not that it's bad, but that it's non-canon and means an in-universe appearance of Yosagi is now unlikely. Sad face :(
